A quiet studio. A full heart. A handmade life.

I’m Kate, the heart and hands behind Lucky Seven Leather.

A full-time single mother to two wild-hearted boys.
A volleyball libero, a gamer, a survivor of the long silence.
And an introvert who believes the most powerful stories can be - and usually are - told without words.

This studio began during a season of unraveling:

Greece’s first pandemic wave.
Divorce. Isolation.
And the kind of stillness that didn't feel peaceful at all, but just hollow.

Somewhere in that darkness I could hear it:

The quiet, sacred pulse of something burning inside, something in the depths of my soul crying out for help.

Seven: the number of wholeness.
Of spiritual perfection.
Of quiet protection, when everything else falls away.

Seven became my anchor, my mantra if you want. And as I began working with these materials that now are making me a living, I considered myself lucky for getting out of all this in one piece.

We don’t have to shout to shine.
We can rise quietly, carrying our strength in every step.

Sometimes just getting out alive from the worst is more than enough.

Why I Stay Small

This isn’t a brand built to scale.
It’s a sanctuary I've built to feel. To remember. To reconnect.

I make every single piece by hand, by the most basic ways, on a  messy workbench, with a cutting blade, scissors, colors and thread, a cat that loves to steal my threads and a belief that what we wear should mean something - even when it makes no sense to anyone else.

Every bracelet, every pendant I make, every stone or crystal, color or symbol I choose — it’s all infused with meraki, that beautiful Greek word for pouring your soul into what you do.

It can be passion. It can be the joy our inner child still finds in the little things. It can be an inner flame. It can be at times a calling for help. It is our soul.

And that soul needs its space to breathe.

I stay small on purpose.

I’d rather make something real than make something fast.

I’d rather remember your name, your story, your favorite color, and the time we laughed while trying to figure out your spouse's wrist size by a blurry photo, not to ruin the surprise by asking them. 

I’d rather each piece feel like it was made for someone - for you - not just made to make a sale.
