A little piece of Greek heritage, handmade in leather, copper, and stone.
This distinctive necklace features an oxidized copper Vergina Sun motif, paired with a warm tan oiled Vachetta leather pendant and a small natural lapis lazuli bead. The combination of earthy leather, darkened copper, and deep blue stone gives the piece a character that feels both ancient and wonderfully wearable.
The Vergina Sun is one of the most recognizable symbols associated with ancient Macedonian heritage. Its striking design makes it a meaningful motif for those who feel a connection to Greek history, culture, and the enduring beauty of ancient symbols.
The pendant is crafted from a narrow strip of tan oiled Vachetta leather, shaped into a loop at the top so it can slide onto its adjustable dark brown cord necklace.
The oxidized copper sun is secured with dark brown waxed cord wraps, while the small natural lapis lazuli bead adds a subtle touch of deep blue above the motif. Every element has its place, creating a balanced design with a distinctly Greek character.
Handmade in my workshop, this necklace brings together traditional materials and an ancient-inspired motif in a piece that feels personal, grounded, and timeless.
